TEDDY BEAR MISCHIEF AT RICHMOND VALE RAILWAY MUSEUM

Teddy bears and their stuffed animal friends have been invited to a sleepover at Richmond Vale railway Museum on Saturday 15 September.

The sleepover is part of RVRM's annual Family Fun Fest, which runs over two days, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September.

Teddy bear owners are invited to bring their teddy bear friends to the museum on the Saturday, so that they can sleepover on Saturday night. While the toys are sleeping over, museum spies will see if they get up to any mischief. If they do, photos will be taken and can be viewed on Facebook or at the museum on Sunday.

Teddy bear owners will be granted pass-outs, so that they can return to the museum on Sunday to rejoin their teddy bear friends.

As part of Family Fun Fest, the usual unlimited steam train rides will be available. Other activities will include miniature train rides, face-painting, carnival fun and displays including model trains, model cars, dolls from around the world and vintage Meccano. The mining museum with displays and archival films will also be open.

The museum gates open at 9.30am each day and close at 4.00pm. Entry is adults $16.00, concession $11.00, children 5-15 $7.50 and under 5 free.

The museum is located at 262 Leggetts Drive, Richmond Vale, about 4km south of Kurri Kurri.
