The Family Fun Fest is an annual two day event held in September.This years event will be held on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September from 10.00 am.
A Teddy Bears Picnic will be the theme at the annual Family Fun Fest at Richmond Vale Railway Museum. Bring your favourite teddy for a train ride and picnic. There will be teddy bear fun on the platform between train rides.
Other features include carnival rides for all ages (rides will incur an extra fee) and miniature train rides. A special feature will be The Fun Engine, a fire educational resource for kids. There will also be a display of photos showing the building of the track. 2016 celebrates 25 years since the rebuilding of the track to Pelaw Main was completed and the opening of the Entry Building.
The kids (including big kids) can have fun painting plaster items from Fran's Fun Factory. Free face painting will be available. Marjorie, the 0-4-0 saddle tank steam engine will be hauling heritage carriages for train rides throughout the weekend. Entry fees are Adults $16; Concession $11; Children [5-15 Years] $7.50. Children under 5 are free.
Gates open at 10am and close at 4pm.
